Welcome to the Branson Military Museum and Historic Firearms Exhibit
The “Branson Military Museum & Historic Firearms Exhibit,” along with the “National BB Gun Museum,” brings a whole new historical perspective to Branson’s incredible museum industry. Interesting displays that include rare weapons, historical artifacts from conflicts spanning the Civil War to present day, a theater running vintage movie newsreels, and authentic military uniforms are all waiting to be discovered. Even the conflict that was brought into our lives on our own soil on that unforgettable September day is memorialized in a special tribute room, a museum favorite for a local Branson journalist. It’s an experience that’s at once educational and entertaining; enlightening and sobering. You’ll find it moving to view the uniforms worn by American soldiers who sacrificed so much in war time, or those who gave years of their lives in support services to aid them; it’s particularly touching to see a POW’s uniform, complete with evidence of battle wounds.
Your visit to the “Military Museum” comes with access to the “National BB Gun Museum” where you’ll find 150 years of air rifles and accessories that entertained generations of youngsters. You’ll see hundreds of items detailing the evolution of the BB gun, as well as other intriguing displays. Every lover of fantasy, space, and the genius of George Lucas will be riveted to the extensive collection of Star Wars toys! You’ll also discover hundreds of military toys and action figures, every military fan’s dream collection! To add yet another dimension, a classic All-American graphic art advertisements collection is on display.
